This weeks topic: "Does it cost more to eat healthy?” Most say yes. But, the difference in cost can be made up by focusing on reducing food waste, spending less on soda, candy and fast food and eating out less. Also, consider that the money you spend now on feeding your family healthy food will save you a lot more in health care costs later. Due to the holiday schedule we have made the decision to move the first Healthy Happy Hour to March 2012. We will confirm the actual date in our next communication. Plans are to coordinate this activity with the Get Active Howard County kick-off events that begin in March.
