This weeks topic: "Does it cost more to eat healthy?”  Most say yes. But, the difference in cost can be made up by focusing on reducing food waste, spending less on soda, candy and fast food and eating out less.  Also, consider that the money you spend now on feeding your family healthy food will save you a lot more in health care costs later.  If you are reading this communication take your 5 wellness education points.  Answer the bonus question below and take another 5 points on your tracking sheet.

RESCHEDULED ----  HEALTHY HAPPY HOUR IS RESCHEDULED TO MARCH 2012: 
Due to the holiday schedule we have made the decision to move the first Healthy Happy Hour to March 2012.  We will confirm the actual date in our next communication.  Plans are to coordinate this activity with the Get Active Howard County kick-off events that begin in March.

Time to get up and moving!  Join us this Saturday morning for the Free Circuit Training In The Park.  Guaranteed to keep you moving and smiling!  Wear a sweatshirt and bring your water bottle.   The Free Family Circle Training will continue through November and start back up again in March 2012.  7:50am to 9:00am:  Centennial Park (108 South entrance) follow the Get Active Howard County signs once you enter the front gate.
